Tonight I hear a friend of mine, someone brand new to triathlon, training for IMC, had a bike accident, and broke her collar-bone. Thankfully it was not a more serious accident, but you can imagine how devastated she is training up until 3 weeks before her big race.

I'm just so thankful to have this body that allows me to train and have such amazing adventures. Don't take it for granted. Ride defensively, be safe, and treasure every moment.

I agree.  I had my own crash experience last summer. You can lose it all in a flash.
