Had the PC hooked up to the big screen yesterday and the whole fam-damily cheered you over the finish line last night. You both looked great and I can't wait to hear the details.  Congrats you two! As always, I am inspired!!!

I can not thank you all enough for the numerous e-mails and text messages we received in the days leading up to our big race. Ginny is formulating a race report, and I am trying to find the words to describe the day...momentous, inspiring, challenging, difficult, hot and life-altering all come to mind.

We are going to try to put together a slide show of the day and the event, for those who want to suffer through it all over again with us. We will try to keep it inspiring for those who still want to take on the challenge of Kona at some point in the future. It certainly was a day to remember...thanks again for all the great posts.

Just wanted to add my congratulations to the two of you for incredible races.  It was so inspiring to see you cross the finish line in Kona.  Sounds like it was a really tough day, but you guys are tough competitors.  Well done!

Joel, I spent a lot of time during the race imagining watching you racing along the Queen K with the pros. I know it is a few years away, but I am sure you will make it a worthwhile trip, and we will all have the pleasure of cheering you along that road.

I learned a lot on race day, and will be happy to share the experience with those willing to listen to me drone on and on. We are putting together a slide show to try to make it a bit more interesting...
