Wish I could...am stuck in Salmon Arm on call this week-end. Hoping to get some log hours on the trainer, while watching the Olympics. Will be thinking of you all enjoying the scenery around the lake.

Details of Robb's Ride are up on teh GFCC site. This year they are starting and finishing in Grand Forks, with some big climbs to Osoyoos on Day 1, and back on Day 2. Day 3 is in and around Grand Forks/Christina Lake, which falls on the same day as the Oliver Training Camp. So, I won;t be able to stay for the full three days, but am hoping to see the BPR crew in full force for the climbs to Osoyoos and back.

Well I couldn't find anyone to ride around the lake at 6:30 this morning so I left the house at 7:30am.  Glad I wore my winter jacket as I almost froze my nackers off.  Hit a rock on a decent in Lake Country while going around a corner with a truck half way in my lane.  Glad it was the back wheel.  My fingers were numb after changing the flat and wasn't impressed when I realized I only brought one tube and one CO2!  I forgot how nice West Side Road is.  Overall the tarmac is great with lots of moderate climbs and descents.  It started to feel pretty lonely way back there.
All and all a great day of riding in the beautiful Okanagan!

Matt, Myself, and another will be going around the lake tomorrow (Sunday). Leaving the north bean scene at 8AM.
This will not be a hammer fest.
BPR'ers welcome. Bring a HRM.
