Hey Everyone, hope your weekend has been going well.  I've had a pretty solid few days here and today was the icing on the cake.  I went out for a hilly endurance ride with a few guys here in Penticton.  I ended up doing 3 hours (they kept going for 5), it was only 60km, but it was steep.  On all the hills (4 of them) I just focused on controlling my breathing while keeping my heart rate BP - 20-25. Watts were about 200-220.  At the end I did a 10 min run (not long but I know I need to build in to it) focusing on my RPM, proper posture and controlled breathing.  It felt really good and I'm really looking forward to Oliver Sprint next month.

Thanks for reading hope all your training was great today!

Nice work Geoff...the hills in Mallorca are calling, and we go there in a few days. Will be thinking of you and the rest of the team, and hoping the weather is holding for you all. May is going to be fun with all the team events. Don;t forget about Robb's Ride and COBRA Century Ride. There is a Mallorca trip up for grabs in the draw at COBRA!
