Hey Gang
I just listened to this clip on youtube. It's particularly relevant for me as I've been struggling with sore feet for ages. I think I've FINALLY figured out the sequence of events that caused my issue.
1. weak achilles since childhood, such that I was casted, and had physio from 10-14yrs of age
2. avoided pushing off from the toes due to sore achilles
3. stretched and weakened the tibialis posterior as it tried to take up the slack from the achilles, and I began to allow major pronation since the arch could no longer be supported
4. major heel pain as the plantar fascia pulled as the arch stretched dropped

It's taken me a looooong time to figure this out, but I'm SO excited to get healthy.

BUT, I also need specific nutrition to help. A high carb, and low fat diet does not help the issue. Check out the youtube clip to hear more

If you are dealing with tendon issues, nutrition may be part of the picture.

Great insight Ginny- have you ever seen Dr Weil's "anti-inflammatory diet? He has it posted on his website- ( the first month is free) - if you can ignore all the blantant "product placement" the info seems solid- though nothing you haven't read before I am sure-
you know- fish oils good, saturated fats not so good
deep coloured berries good- bannanas not so much
in general sugars bad-
he has it all nicely written out though ( with  pictures:)
