Hey Team
I realize many of you have been holding off getting a license, waiting for BPR to be registered as a team. First of all, I'm sorry we did not get on this earlier. We were stalling, as we didn't see ourselves as a 'trade' team, but we are not a registered non-profit club etc. We are now trying to get set up as a trade team, but the website is not allowing us to complete registration. We will be completing this on Monday Feb 5th, when the office is open.
Sorry for the hold-up, and we'll get 'er done asap.
Ginny
P.S. Thanks for your efforts Tanille!!

I have registered BPR as a Trade Team.
It is pending. I assume it will take a day or two for BPR to be included in the list of teams.

Good News Coach G ...
This is important for several reasons ...
1)   ‘Trade Team’ just sounds cool and legit !!!  Kiss
2)   When our guys make the podium ... which is a certainty, the results will show which registered team you belong to ... More exposure for BPR. The sponsors also used to be listed behind the trade team names in Result postings ... Not sure if they still do.
When you do register with Cycling BC, you will choose the BPR trade team and Cycling BC will check the rider list that Ginny provided ... I assume that Coach G put everyone down on the HP Team Huh
Next ... Bring on the Early Season Races !!!! Kiss

Thanks sweety...I struggled trying to complete the forms again today after failing on the week-end. Glad someone in the family has been able to work through the Cycling BC filing system.

To go along with Gin's announcement, I can also add that the BPR Team Trailer has arrived! It is a small start to our dream of fully supporting a group of dedicated athletes, and Brock is busy getting it ready for showing off at the early season events.

I agree with Simon. There are some big bonuses to being registered as a Trade Team. But along with that "prestige" goes the expectations of the members of that team to step up their own commitment to continued progress. I have been more than impressed with the vast majority of the group. From the ongoing commitment at the Thursday sessions, to participation at the fundraisers we have attended, and the great support you have shown for each other.

If you have been sitting on the fence about which races to attend this year, and have failed to make a firm commitment towards realizing some short term goals, now is the perfect time to sign-up, put your name down on the registration list, commit to being on that start line with the rest of the team, and find some new motivation to dig a little deeper in training.

It is gonna be a FUN season. Be ready!!!

Hats off to the 4 BPR riders seen riding around the Lake on Saturday, before the snow fell again. Hope everyone made it back safely!

OK...it is now OFFICIAL. When you register for your UCI license, which ALL cyclists on the team must do, be sure to affiliate your license with BPR!!!
