Hey, my wife says you guys keep slamming me on face book! I'm still running an anti face book campaign but that just might have to change soon. Watch it or I might have to teach each one of you a lesson behind Little Kingdom!
It was great to see the BPR team all jacked up on the weekend! Everyone had the look of "POWER & WATTS" in their eyes! Looks like everyone made some serious improvements, especially for this time of the year. The Quail is riding like a freak! I say we put him in the break for his first CAT 2 race???
Great to see everyone riding so strong!

I remember that crit ... It got ugly Good thing Sellars is an MD and was there to administer first aid I agree with the Killer ... Quail is an animal (and a bird). Horn and Little River Woman also looked good and put the hurt on the capt'n. sc

Killer, are you sure you were riding with the BPR crew? They told me they were just going for a relaxed cruise around the lake, and promised not to do any hard efforts. Must have been some other crew you hooked up with by accident.
I heard some are heading down to Abbotsford to race this week-end, while some of us head to J.Tree for an educational camp with Juerg. Manuel and Luke both checked in this week, and have reported training well, and both showing good improvements, with the plan of unveiling their newfound power at Salty Dog in May.
Killer, it is great to know that you are back on the road, and we all hope to see more of you as the warm weather takes a stronger hold on the Okanagan.

Another wild day of training yesterday! Matt and Simon were putting the hurt on me. I cant believe the power these two guys were pushing yesterday. We were riding a pace line with each one of us continuously cycling through until I couldn't take my turn! I always pull through no matter how bad it hurts but I just couldn't yesterday. These two were riding me off their wheel! At first when I would see a small roller up the road I thought oh perfect, Matt's so big he will be hanging on and I will get some recovery time...not how it worked out. Both of these guys were mashing every hill in sight and I was doing everything I could to hold on. I never seen Simon ride like that before. Well done gentlemen!

Swabby was VERY impressed with the Horn and the Killer in the "Pace Line of Death" Horn is raging right now and showing some serious form !!!! And the Killer altho hurting NEVER gets dropped ... that guy KNOWS how to SUFFER and u can't teach that ... Killer rocks !!! Some of our Jr's may want to pay attention to this trait cuz that's one trait ALL champions have !!!!! Swabby is also raging and taking on all comers ... this may be a limited time engagement as if I keep this up I'm going to implode. Come and get hammered on if you dare ... Like the thread says ... Lets drop these guys ... pronbably will be the last words you hear as I ride away from you ... interested Swabby

I, on the other hand, am very grateful for POLAR's support. For sure riding without thinking too much is important sometimes, but one cannot forget to implement the ideas Balance Point Racing in their general training regimes.
If our sponsors are reading this I hope they realize that there are still those who appreciate their support.

That's right! The competitors brand was tossed. My Polar RS800cx guides my training and let's me be very specific about my workouts and provides me with invaluable post workout information. But... Even the best heart rate monitor can't decide for you when it's time to take that one way trip to HammerVille. If you ride with Swabby over the next little while, nothing can save you. Whether your goal is to just survive staying in the pack in the local crit or hanging on trying to outrun a surging pack in a road race, numbers may not save you, but a willingness to go beyond where you think is possible might!! Swabby knows Best!

Sign me up for the next ship departing for the Shuswap. I am on call all weekend, but willing to ride OK Avenue as many times as the Swabby will lead. The bonus it is all downhill to the front door of the ER, and I know the attending physicians personally. Can't wait to learn how to suffer from the Masters of Pain.
Take notice of a young Cat I rider now attending UBCO who is looking for a ride to the SS THIS WEEKEND. Seems like possibly another potential commuter on the train to Hammerville.
