I wanted to say "CONGRATULATIONS" to Stephen Ushy for upgrading to CAT 2!!!!  I had to attached the pic.  Last year when I received my CAT 2 license I use to stare at the big #2 all day.  I would wake up in the morning and check that the #2 was still there.

Well done Stephen!!!

Thanks guys!  It's not easy going through cat 5, 4, and 3. 20 points earned in each. Jason and I started at roughly the same time and battled each other and then became teammates.  Now we'll do battle again, but with respect, class, and dignity in a sporting way. We'll train together, but try and drop each other this summer I'm sure.

Here we go!!

This is a SERIOUS accomplishment Quail! Your multiple laps around the lake, smart training, and fire in the belly makes for a brilliant cyclist ready to ride with the big boys. No better guy than Killmartin to keep you on your toes. I look forward to watching you race this year. Yihaaaaaaw!

I will join the echoes of praise for the work you have done this year Quail, and in accomplishing your goal so early in the season.

I am sure Jason will appreciate having a "friendly face" in the elite pack of riders the two of you will be riding with this summer. It is always nice to know you have a training partner working alongside you, even if the jersey on your back has a different colour.

Good luck to you both!
