I would like to start off by thanking all of you who attended either or both of the Granfondo nights this week. It was great to see so many of the team out and about and I really appreciated all of your support there.

OK - busy week this week - a lot of the team are heading down on Thurs to Walla Walla - BEST OF LUCK - and some people are in Mallorca lounging about and working on their tans.

Here is the plan;

Thursday - we  will meet at The Next Level - for a 5.30pm roll out!! We will either head to the crit course for some work there - or head into the hills to work on some specifics.

Saturday - this was meant to be #4 in the series - with a lot of people away we are not having a formal meeting. I am ready and willing to ride on Saturday - 10am! Meet at the BPR office (e-mail me for directions if you have not been here yet) and we will ride for around 2 hours. There is then the opportunity to try out some great new trail shoes at Fresh Air Experience at 1pm - so I will be heading up there for that.

I hope all of your weeks go well - again, GOOD LUCK TO THE TEAM RACING THIS WEEKEND - WE WILL BE SENDING YOU GOOD VIBES!!!

I'm done lounging on the beach now and am back to Canada. Brrr! I'm riding 200 k with the Randonneurs Saturday at 7 am from the Gateway Shell in Kamloops if anyone wants to come along and share in the fun. My husband and I will ride together for sure with a goal of 30-32 km/hr average. The course goes out Westsyde Road and across the McLure Ferry, back to Kamloops, to Chase and back to the Gateway Shell. Cost is $20 to join the club and $15 for the ride. You need a light on the front and rear of the bike. If we're doing a team ride this weekend, I vote for Monday, so I get a rest day, but I could do Sunday too... let me know.

Wow! 200k sounds big!
David and I (and I think Jen, Quail, Matt and Chris?) are doing the PreFondo ride in Penticton on Sat morning.
On Sunday, David & I have family Easter events in Salmon Arm so we're out for riding on Sunday.
We are counting on doing 3 laps of the Salty on Monday.  It's a good way to burn off that chocolate bunny!!

Tom Stewart has offered to run a tactical bike skills session on Easter Monday, meeting in Armstrong. The ride will be focused on developing tactics that will result in smart decisions during road racing. We have not firmed up a time, but I would really hope as many of our BPR crew can make it out to work with Tom.

If you want a REAL way to burn the calories from an Easter Gorge Fest, join Tom in the morning in Armstrong, and me in the afternoon on the Salty Dog trails...

I can be there for the race tactics ride. I did the 200 k Rando yesterday and will have the big Easter dinner tonight, so "sluggish" could be the word of the day, but I'm in. Just let me know when and where.
