Is anyone going? I've always wanted to try this race. Is it flat? I need flat. And preferably no pigs.

On call again...bummer.
Flat, fast, lots of gravel on the dyke, and potentially muddy as hell. Count on rain and misery this time of year in the Lower Mainland. Remember the great photo of Matterhorn from 2011? Perhaps he can post it here for motivation.

This is YOUR kind of event Shawn, but be sure to chat with those with experience regarding race tactics, which include positioning going up onto the dyke, which can often decide whether you make the breakaway groups that are sure to form on those sections.
