I know there was mention of Axel's Youth Development program coming.... here is more information for those that may be the right age:

I think I may be a little too old for this one. Grin

This is fantastic news for young riders in BC. We hope that those living in the Okanagan will take it upon themselves to enjoy our great rural roads in preparation for these events, while their parents and local City Councils see the value in developing safe bike lanes and access to secondary roads in order to support healthy and sustainable means of transportation for years to come.

We already have 5 young athletes training with BPR. We hope that Axel's announcement of more races for young riders will help develop more interest.

If you know of a young rider interested in training for one of these events, please have them contact us for how we might be able to help with their training and technical skills. Our training camps are open to cyclists of all ages and abilities, and are a great way to spend a weekend with some great athletes learning the skills required to enjoy events like these in the future.

- U13 (born before Jan. 1st, 1999 and after Dec. 31st, 2000)

Explain this to me... I'm confused. How can someone be born before Jan 1, 1999 and after Dec 31, 2000 at the same time?

Ethan was born Aug 22, 2000. Is he too young for this year?

Hey Shawn,
On the link it says- U13 (born after Dec. 31st, 1999 but before Dec. 31st, 2001) so I believe that Ethan is is old enough to compete  Wink
