

At 6:10am, the sun was peaking over the mountains, the sliver of the moon still visible. BPR athletes dove into the 56 degree water of Lake Meade to begin the Rage in the Sage 1/2 Ironman. The cycle was a hilly,out and back course skirting the edge of the lake. The run was 'XTERRA' style, heading up to the hills on rocky gravel paths, and through tunnels along an old railgrade.
