Ginny's Short Term Goals

  • Build strong feet!
  • Develop more ingrained nutrition habits.
  • Train early am, so allow for noon swim 3 days/week.
  • Overcome PF, and build to run trails.
  • Prep to race Oliver 1/2 Iron sub 5hrs.

Ginny's Long Term Goals

  • Race Ironman WA 2010 in 10hr15, or place 1/2.
  • Race Ironman Kona 2011 strong and injury-free.
  • 2012 Build to ultra distance trail running.
  • 2013 Build to multi-day trail running race.

Ginny's Career Highlights

  • 7 Ironman finishes, each with it's own wonderful set of stories and adventures.
  • 10:30 Ironman PR in Western Australia 2006
  • 2nd place AG at XTERRA World Championships 2008

IMC training camp 2010

285km of riding, 25km of running, 4km of swimming. Not bad for 3 days in Penticton...As these athletes show their grit and endurance over three challenging days, Ironman is clearly in their grasp.
